Fiber Optic Universal Power Alert UPA-200-Div2-72 Power Alert Voltage Detector by ATC and Diversified Electronics. A seventy-two (6ft) inch fiber optic cable is used for the panel front indication. The ATC UPA-20072-Div2 Universal Power Alert reduces and annunciates the risk of electrical arc flash by pre-verifying the electrical isolation from outside of a control panel. THE UPA is Hard wired to the circuit breaker or main disconnect switch, the UPA flashes whenever a voltage is present. THE ATC UPS is engineered with redundant circuitry and the UPA-200-Div2-72 is powered by the same voltage that it is indicating.
The Universal Power Alert has 8 detectors to visually alert maintenance personel to the presence of dangerous AC or DC voltage (Stored Energy) potentials occurring between any combination of the four monitored input lines (11, 12, 13, GND). The UPA's two LED indicators are assigned to each input line and are designated + and -. For each input line carrying an AC potential (bi-polar), both the + and - LEDs will be active. A DC or Stored Energy potential will illuminate the + LED for the positive line and the - LED for the negative line. The Diversified / ATC Part number is UPA-200-Div2-72
