Setting up Purchase Orders

Sords Electric accepts Visa, Master Card, and American Express for most transactions.

It is possible, however, for customers with good credit ratings to establish Purchase Order numbers with Sords Electric. This option requires pre-approval and is only available for customers placing orders greater than $250.

To gain pre-approval, follow these steps:

First, make sure that you have an online account with Sords Electric. Creating an account is free and easy. Simply go to our Online Store and 'Sign In' with a username and password.

Then, contact us via phone, fax, or email to request pre-approval to buy against Purchase Orders. Make sure to tell us your Sords Electric account name and Purchase Order number. You must also include three credit reference names and fax numbers along with your bank information.

Once you have been approved, the option to buy against a Purchase Order will be available at checkout for your account.

Only customers that have gained pre-approval will see the Purchase Order option at checkout.
